Preparing to be Big Sisters

Having fun preparing to be Big Sisters this month  :  )  We even have a bigger vehicle now!  We had a Happy 4th of July!  I loved the fireworks and Maddie even really liked them just got tired and fell asleep during the finale  ;  )  Maddie is growing and developing as she had her 18 month appt.

Fun Firsts

Well, I have been a very busy girl...1st Dance Recital, 1st Swim Lessons, 1st Golf Clubs (Daddy and Mommy both enjoy golf and are excited for me to hopefully enjoy, too...so far I have enjoyed the driving range and putting green)!  I taught Maddie how to feed the birds for the 1st time at the zoo and this was the 1st time we had seen the bears together...they were so playful!  Also, each time we leave the Children's Museum we love the bouncy dog...our 1st garage sale purchase - we are in trouble because it was alot of fun to pay with my money for such a special treasure  :  )  I even got change and Maddie absolutely loves our find, too!  We were so excited to get to go to the Holland Tulip Festival for the 1st time...the tulips were absolutely beautiful!!!  I am also continuing to prepare Maddie for Big Sisterhood as it is quickly approaching!!!

Maddie's Dedication

Just like Mommy and Daddy were blessed to have me dedicated...we dedicated Maddie at church!  What a gift family was able to celebrate this very special day with us!  Maddie also has 12 teeth...8 front teeth and 4 molars!  She is trying to do everything I do...she continues to verbalize more and more!  We had such a fun Easter, too!

Hoppy Easter!

What fun I had even getting to build a Snowman Easter Bunny...not too often do we have snow this close to Easter!  We waved Hi to the Easter Bunny at the mall and got our cute bunny ears to pose in  :  )  I really was excited to dye Easter Eggs!  We have been practicing for Egg Hunts tomorrow - SO excited.  I have taught Maddie what it is all about and she is ready!  Maddie's communicating is getting better everyday...she is a parrot of many words...she gets frustrated with herself because she thinks that she is 3 years old like me.

Snow Globe

Today as we were inside playing each time we looked out it looked like we were in a snow globe...not a lot stayed on the ground, but it sure was pretty...made us remember the fun we had in the snow with Daddy  :  )  Look at our fun snowman!

Big Sisters

So excited to announce July 24th, 2013 our family is due to have a new addition.  I am excited to be a Big Sister again and Maddie is growing up quickly to prepare.  I am such a helper and Maddie is learning to be, too.  We have lots of fun playing together and she is communicating more and more.  If you ask her where someone is she points or puts her arms up like I don't know.  She says "Dada", "Mama", "Juice", "Dog Dog", and lots of other chit chat  :  )  Also, signs more and all done.  When you ask her what a monkey or dog says she responses appropriately.  She rides on riding toys and loves to play with babies!  She has such a sweet tooth for treats.  She has quite the personality.  We really have SO much fun together.  I am quite the other mother to her  :  )
